Activity 2.3.1 Making Sketches

I was only able to do Thirteen of the Nineteen CAD Drawings. This was a cool 'in class assignment'. They started out fun, and moderately difficult, but as they went on, they appeared less appealing and more difficult.

"Making Stuff Questions"

Making Stuff Stronger
Q. Could a full Kevlar body suit be created, and adopted in the military, factory, and as a fireman?
A. It has a possibility to be done, but breathing would be tough in this heavy suit made purely of Kevlar, and it would be insane to custom make a suit to fit hands, feet, and head size. A 'wet' suit style type of Kevlar could be adopted, but it wouldn't exactly help to an extent because you would not be as mobile as without it, and it would be extremely heavy. However, the vest and helmet are extremely helpful already.
Making Stuff Smaller
Q. Why is Quartz so useful in modern electronics?
A. Because it is extremely cheap, and the second  largest natural resource in the world. No matter how much you cut it, it can get smaller, and if an electrical current is sent through it, it will vibrate millions of times a second. Extremely Conductive.
Making Stuff Cleaner
Q. With the use of improved batteries, would an everyday electronic item (iPhone, controller, computer) be able to last as long as a light bulb, if they were on for the same amount of time?
A. It depends on how much energy is being used by the given item, because a laptop is constantly putting out more energy than the everyday light bulb when on. The battery being created would need to be EXTREMELY strong to even compete with the life of a light bulb, because a light bulb does not put out as much energy as an everyday electronic item.
Making Stuff Smarter
Q. How could the Human Mind compete with an all knowing and physically strong robot/computer?
A. (SMARTS) Because in order to 'think' and come up with an answer to a question, one must go through certain steps in their brain, which is similar to what goes on in the process of a computer.
(STRENGTH) A human can compete with a robot in strength because they can think of strategies, however the advantage that robots have is that they feel no pain, and they are able to do inhuman things.
